I had been thining about doing the Woodwork For Women course for about 18 months. I finally signed up and started the course 5 months after the birth of my daughter. The course was a wonderful opportunity for me to learn a new skill, as well as taking on a new challenge.

I operate my own jewellery business and am a full time mum so it was great to know I had one day a week where I could concentrate on learning something that was for my pleasure and interest only.

As well as being interesting and giving me an avenue for meeting other like-minded women, I now have a new skill which enables me to make...well...anything I want! I am not limited by what I can find to buy. I can make things the way I want them to look.
